The Global Center for Social Entrepreneurship’s Ambassador Corps Program is seeking applications from international development organizations that practice social entrepreneurship and can benefit from the contribution of a skilled undergraduate or graduate intern who has undergone a competitive selection process. To be considered as a host organization, we would like to ask the Managing Director or Executive Director of the organization to complete and endorse the application materials included in this packet. Prior to departure, the Global Center provides cross cultural training and a “tools of the trade” workshop to equip students with the skills needed to thrive in foreign work environments. Students will be familiar with fundamental concepts of social entrepreneurship, international development, and specific skills that can range from disciplines in engineering, economics, and law, to business, international relations, and more.
The Global Center works closely with both the host organizations and the interns to ensure that the intern positions are well defined, and that the assignments match the organization’s needs as well as the intern’s interests, skills, and learning objectives.
